Describe dermal leiomyosarcoma.

This solitary tumor has a nonspecific appearance, presenting as a red-pink nodule of 0.5 cm to .3.0 cm, and may be painful. It exhibits a predilection for proximal extremity extensor surfaces and areas of greatest hair distribution. The tumors may occasionally be ulcerated (Fig. 47-8).
