- Phthirus pubis, crab louse; wider and shorter body than the body louse,
resembling miniature crabs
- Presents with itching of pubic area, may be erythema around hair follicles,
excoriations, secondary bacterial infection, ± maculae caerulea: slate gray
to blue macules
- Treatment same as head lice
